Green Tea:
- 4 cups water
- 3 green tea bags
Blueberry Puree:
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger (optional)
Serving:
- ice cubes for serving
- fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare Green Tea: Boil water in a saucepan, remove from heat, steep green tea bags for 3-4 minutes.
- Make Blueberry Puree: Blend blueberries, strain through a sieve to remove skins.
- Combine Ingredients: Mix blueberry puree, honey, lemon juice, lemon zest, and ginger into the green tea.
- Chill and Serve: Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, serve over ice with mint leaves.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
- For a sparkling version, replace 1 cup of water with sparkling water just before serving.
