Pie Crust:

Filling:
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cups broccoli florets, chopped
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup half-and-half (or whole milk)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish, crimping the edges as desired.
- Sauté the Vegetables: In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and broccoli, cooking for 4–5 minutes until softened. Spread the broccoli and onion mixture evenly over the pie crust.
- Prepare the Egg Mixture: In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, half-and-half, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until smooth. Stir in half of the cheddar cheese. Pour the egg mixture into the crust over the vegetables.
- Add Cheese and Bake: Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese on top. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden.
