- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped cooked bacon (optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Sear the chicken: Season the chicken breasts with ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Sear the chicken in a hot skillet for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown but not fully cooked.
- Prepare the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the cream cheese and chicken broth until smooth. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the skillet. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake: Transfer the skillet to the oven. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is bubbling.
- Finish and serve: Remove from oven and top with chopped bacon and parsley before serving.
