Then pour this wet mixture into the mixer with the dry ingredients. Beat on medium speed again until the batter is smooth.   3. Chill the Dough: Transfer the dough into an 8×8-inch pan and spread evenly. Place the pan in the refrigerator and chill for 30 minutes to firm up the dough. Meanwhile, preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  4. Cut into Strips: After chilling, remove the dough from the fridge and carefully cut it into 32 thin strips, each approximately 1/4 inch wide and 4 inches long, mimicking the look of fries.
