Description

This Easy Stove Top Stuffing Meatloaf combines classic meatloaf flavors with the convenience and flavor of Stove Top stuffing mix. A quick and simple recipe perfect for a hearty family dinner, blending moist ground beef with savory stuffing and topped with tangy ketchup for a delicious homemade meal.

Ingredients

Scale

Meatloaf Mixture

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 6 ounce box Stove Top stuffing mix (any flavor)
  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1/4 cup ketchup (for mixing in)

Topping

  • 1/4 cup ketchup (for brushing on top)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking dish or pan with non-stick cooking spray to ensure easy removal and cleanup.
  2. Mix Eggs and Water: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the 2 large eggs and 1/2 cup of water thoroughly until the mixture is cohesive and smooth.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Add the Stove Top stuffing mix, 2 pounds of lean ground beef, and 1/4 cup ketchup to the egg mixture. Use your hands to mix all the ingredients evenly and thoroughly, making sure everything is well incorporated.
  4. Shape Meatloaf: Transfer the meat mixture into the prepared baking dish and use your hands or a spatula to shape it into a loaf form, pressing it evenly into the pan.
  5. Add Ketchup Topping: Brush the remaining 1/4 cup of ketchup evenly over the top surface of the shaped meatloaf to add flavor and moisture during baking.
  6. Bake the Meatloaf: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 55 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  7. Cool and Serve: Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes. Then slice into portions and serve warm.
