Ingredients
Scale
Fruits
- 2 ripe mangoes (peeled and chopped)
Dairy
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat recommended)
Sweeteners & Flavorings
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Blend the mangoes: Place the peeled and chopped mangoes in a blender and blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Mix ingredients: Add the Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and a pinch of salt to the blended mango. Blend again until all ingredients are fully combined and smooth.
- Fill molds: Pour the mango-yogurt mixture into popsicle molds, leaving some space at the top to allow for expansion during freezing.
- Freeze: Insert popsicle sticks into the molds and place them in the freezer for at least 4 hours or until completely solid.
- Unmold popsicles: To remove the popsicles from the molds, briefly run warm water over the outside of the molds to loosen them, then gently pull out the frozen pops.
Notes
- Use full-fat Greek yogurt for creamier pops, but low-fat can be substituted for a lighter option.
- Adjust sweetness with more or less honey or maple syrup to taste.
- If you don’t have popsicle molds, small paper cups and wooden sticks can be used instead.
- Frozen pops can be stored in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
- For a dairy-free version, substitute Greek yogurt with coconut yogurt.
