Description

This delightful Nilla Banana Pudding Bark is a sweet and crunchy treat combining creamy white chocolate infused with banana cream pudding, crunchy banana chips, and classic Nilla wafer pieces. Perfect for a no-bake dessert that’s easy to prepare and sure to please banana pudding lovers with its mix of textures and flavors.

Ingredients

Scale

Chocolate and Mix

  • 12 oz bag Wilton bright white chocolate melts (or white chocolate chips)
  • 1/4 cup Wilton yellow chocolate melts
  • 3 Tablespoons banana cream JELL-O pudding powder mix

Toppings

  • 1/2 cup banana chips
  • 1 cup Nabisco Nilla wafers – broken into pieces

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pan: Line a medium sheet pan with wax or parchment paper to prevent sticking and set aside for easy cleanup.
  2. Melt the white chocolate: Place the white chocolate in a double boiler over medium heat. Stir occasionally until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Melt the yellow chocolate: While melting the white chocolate, microwave the yellow candy melts in a small microwave-safe bowl on HIGH for 45 seconds or until fully melted and smooth. Stir well.
  4. Add pudding mix: Once the white chocolate is melted, stir in the banana cream JELL-O pudding powder mix thoroughly, ensuring even distribution. Remove from heat.
  5. Spread the chocolate: Pour the white chocolate mixture into the parchment-lined pan. Use a rubber spatula to spread it evenly over the surface.
  6. Add banana chips: Immediately sprinkle banana chips evenly across the chocolate, spacing them to leave room for the other toppings.
  7. Drizzle yellow chocolate (first pass): Stir the yellow chocolate again and drizzle half of it over the bark. Reheat briefly if it has hardened.
  8. Add Nilla wafers: Evenly sprinkle the broken Nilla wafer pieces over the bark.
  9. Drizzle yellow chocolate (second pass): Drizzle the remaining yellow chocolate over the bark, reheating if necessary to keep it pourable.
  10. Refrigerate: Place the pan in the refrigerator for 1 hour to allow the bark to completely harden.
  11. Serve: Once set, break the bark into pieces and enjoy this delicious banana pudding-inspired treat.

Notes

  • Use wax or parchment paper to make removing the bark easy after chilling.
  • If the yellow chocolate hardens while working, reheat in short bursts in the microwave to restore smoothness.
  • Feel free to substitute white chocolate chips if Wilton melts are not available.
  • Store leftover bark in an airtight container in the refrigerator to keep it fresh and firm.
  • For extra flavor, try adding a sprinkle of crushed banana chips or vanilla extract to the white chocolate melt mixture before spreading.
