Description

Delightfully festive Rice Krispie Christmas Puddings that combine crunchy cereal with rich chocolate and marshmallows, topped with white chocolate drizzle and colorful holiday decorations. These no-bake treats are perfect for holiday parties, gift boxes, or a fun kids’ dessert.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Toppings

  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • Red and green mini M&Ms or festive sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Melt Butter and Marshmallows: In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter, then add the mini marshmallows and stir continuously until fully melted and smooth.
  2. Add Milk Chocolate Chips: Reduce the heat to low and stir in the milk chocolate chips until melted and fully combined, then remove from heat and mix in the vanilla extract.
  3. Combine with Rice Krispies: Immediately stir in the Rice Krispies cereal and mix until the cereal is fully coated with the chocolate marshmallow mixture.
  4. Shape Puddings: Let the mixture cool slightly, then grease your hands lightly and roll the mixture into golf ball-sized balls. Place them on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Melt White Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
  6. Decorate: Drizzle the melted white chocolate over each ball to resemble icing, then decorate with red and green mini M&Ms or festive sprinkles.
  7. Set: Let the puddings set at room temperature or chill in the fridge until firm before serving.

Notes

  • Lightly grease your hands with butter or oil to make shaping the balls easier.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
  • These treats are perfect for holiday gift boxes or cookie platters.
