Gelatin Mixture
- 3 oz box strawberry flavored JELL-O gelatin
- 1 1/3 cups boiling water
- 2/3 cup vodka (chilled)
Topping
- 12 fresh strawberries (cleaned with stems removed)
- 1/2 cup Vanilla frosting
Instructions
- Prepare the Cups: Place the 12 plastic soufflé cups on a large plate or tray and set them aside for easy filling and chilling.
- Dissolve Gelatin: In a medium mixing bowl, pour in the strawberry flavored gelatin powder. Add the boiling water and whisk thoroughly until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Then stir in the chilled vodka until the mixture is well combined.
- Fill and Chill: Pour the liquid gelatin mixture into each plastic cup, filling nearly to the rim. Chill the cups in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or preferably overnight to allow the gelatin to fully set. After chilling, place the lids on the cups to keep them fresh until serving.
- Add Frosting and Strawberry: Before serving, use a piping bag to apply about 2 tablespoons of vanilla frosting on top of each jello shot. Gently press a cleaned strawberry (pointy end up) into the frosting, creating the look of a Santa hat.
- Decorate and Serve: Pipe a small dollop of vanilla frosting on the tip of each strawberry to complete the Santa hat look. Serve immediately and enjoy these festive holiday treats that are sure to wow your guests!

- Use chilled vodka to help the gelatin set properly.
