- Mix the egg batter: In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined to create a flavorful custard mixture.
- Assemble the roll-ups: Take each flattened bread slice and roll it tightly around a cooked sausage link. Secure with a toothpick if necessary to keep the roll intact during cooking.
- Cook the roll-ups: Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Dip each bread roll-up into the egg mixture, coating all sides, then place in the skillet. Cook, turning occasionally, until each side is golden brown and the bread is cooked through.
