Description

Crescent Roll Dough:

  • 1 package (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough

Spinach Filling:

  • 1 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Egg Wash:

  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the filling: In a medium bowl, combine the spinach, cream cheese, sour cream, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Prepare the dough: Unroll the crescent dough, press the seams together, and spread the spinach mixture over it.
  4. Roll and slice: Roll the dough into a log, slice into rolls, and place them on the baking sheet.
  5. Brush with egg wash: Brush the rolls with beaten egg.
  6. Bake: Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and bubbling. Serve warm.
