Crescent Roll Dough:
- 1 package (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
Spinach Filling:
- 1 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Egg Wash:
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix the filling: In a medium bowl, combine the spinach, cream cheese, sour cream, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Prepare the dough: Unroll the crescent dough, press the seams together, and spread the spinach mixture over it.
- Roll and slice: Roll the dough into a log, slice into rolls, and place them on the baking sheet.
- Brush with egg wash: Brush the rolls with beaten egg.
- Bake: Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and bubbling. Serve warm.
