Ingredients
Scale
Chicken Wings
- 2 lbs Chicken Wings (Fresh or thawed)
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
Honey Mustard Sauce
- 1/2 cup Honey (Natural sweetness)
- 1/4 cup Dijon Mustard (Creamy and tangy flavor)
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce (Enhances depth with umami)
- 2 cloves Garlic (Minced)
- 2 tbsp Butter (Silky sauce)
Garnish
- 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley (Optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Wings: Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to ensure the sauce sticks well. Season them evenly with salt and black pepper on all sides to enhance the flavor.
- Make the Honey Mustard Sauce: In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in honey, Dijon mustard, and soy sauce until fully combined and smooth. Remove from heat.
- Coat the Wings: Toss the seasoned chicken wings in the prepared honey mustard sauce, making sure each wing is thoroughly coated with the glaze.
- Bake the Wings: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the coated wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a wire rack. Bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through to ensure even cooking and caramelization. The wings should be golden brown and sticky.
- Garnish and Serve: Once baked, transfer the wings to a serving plate. Drizzle any extra sauce from the baking tray over the wings and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra crispiness, broil the wings for 2-3 minutes at the end of baking, watching carefully to prevent burning.
- If you prefer spicy wings, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or hot sauce to the honey mustard sauce.
- Use fresh garlic for best flavor, but garlic powder can be substituted if necessary.
- These wings are best enjoyed fresh but can be refrigerated for up to 2 days and reheated thoroughly before serving.
