Ingredients
Scale
Espresso Base
- 1-2 shots of espresso
Syrups
- 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup
- 1 tablespoon caramel syrup
Milk
- Steamed milk (about 6-8 oz)
Toppings (Optional)
- Whipped cream, for garnish
- Additional caramel syrup, for drizzling
- Ground cinnamon or nutmeg, for sprinkling
Instructions
- Brew the Espresso: Brew a shot (or two) of espresso using your espresso machine or coffee maker, to create the strong coffee base for your latte.
- Steam the Milk: Using a milk frother or stovetop method, steam the milk until it becomes hot and frothy, providing the creamy texture needed for a latte.
- Mix Syrups: In your serving glass, add one tablespoon each of vanilla syrup and caramel syrup, then stir well to blend these sweet and aromatic flavors.
- Combine: Pour the freshly brewed espresso into the glass with the syrup mixture, then slowly add the steamed milk, pouring gently to create a smooth, creamy blend.
- Top with Whipped Cream: Add a generous dollop of whipped cream on top for an extra layer of indulgence, if desired.
- Drizzle with Caramel: Drizzle additional caramel syrup over the whipped cream, and optionally sprinkle with ground cinnamon or nutmeg for a warm, spiced finish.
- Serve: Serve immediately while hot and enjoy your homemade Vanilla Caramel Latte.
Notes
- You can adjust the amount of vanilla and caramel syrup to taste.
- Use whole milk for a richer latte or a milk alternative for a dairy-free version.
- For a stronger coffee flavor, add an extra shot of espresso.
- Whipped cream and spice toppings are optional but add extra flavor and visual appeal.
